Golf for Girls & Gender Expansive Youth

Not your average after school program – a place for girls and gender expansive youth to gather, learn and practice golf every week! Golfers will learn everything from the fundamentals of the game to how to navigate their way around the golf course (and everything in between!).

Designed to meet each golfer at their skill level - each session will include group instruction, guided drills and open practice.

Example Schedule of the Day

4 pm: Welcome and Introductions

420 pm: Golf Drill Stations (ex: make 20 3 footers in a row, varying putting distances, & more)

5 pm: Snack & Bathroom Breaks

520 pm: Putting form practice

545 pm: Open hitting on virtual simulators

6 pm: Pick up

What is your cancellation policy?

*All cancellations and changes are subject to 5% processing fee.*

All change requests must be sent via email to bookings@brooklyngreensgolf.com.

Any requests for course cancellations or changes must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of session (or drop in) start. The credit less a 5% fee will be applied to your account for any future Brooklyn Greens purchase, and credits do not expire. No credits will be issued for cancellations less than two weeks in advance.

We reserve the right to cancel any class or camp that does not meet enrollment requirements, and full tuition will be refunded to those signed up.

Do you offer make ups?

We cannot accommodate make-up classes at this time as they camp is only one day a week.

Can my child participate if they are outside the suggested age range?

Most likely yes, please reach out to us at hello@brooklyngreensgolf.com with more details about your child’s age and experience with golf and we’ll help you find the right course at Brooklyn Greens for them.

Our current COVID safety policies are as follows, please note we are following all guidance and protocols set by the CDC, NY City and State, and DOH. As things change, families who are currently registered for our programs at the time of any changes, will be notified before the start date of the program.

• All teachers and staff are fully vaccinated.
• Brooklyn Greens is a well ventilated large indoor space, when possible we spread out golfers and staff, but encourage use of masks in close quarters.

Do you provide snack and/or lunch?

We do not provide snacks and lunch, please send your child with a water bottle and nut-free snack. We always have snacks available for sale in the Pro Shop for kids who may have forgotten their snack that day.

What is your student to teacher ratio?

Our Golfer to Staff ratio is at least 1:8. Our camps never have more than 8 golfers per day.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a 15% discount for siblings. Additionally you can always reach out to us at bookings@brooklyngreensgolf.com for information on a sliding scale to fit your family’s needs.

Can parents watch?

Our programs for ages 3+ are independent participation, as it encourages full creative focus for all students. Parents are invited to attend a portion of the final day of the 8 session program as we offer a parent showcase to close out our time together.

Do you offer private classes?

If there isn’t a class that works with your schedule, we’re happy to discuss adding one. A minimum of five golfers is needed to create a class. Please contact us hello@brooklyngreensgolf.com.
