Flushing Meadows Classic - Players Dinner, Draft and Calcutta

Suggested attire is street golf appropriate. Please arrive at or before 7:15pm. Plus ones are encouraged, RSVP is required for entry.

What's for Dinner? 

A meatball sub feast with salty sides from our friends at Slutty Sammys + we're launching our official summer ice cream menu with THICK ice cream. Vegan options available.

What's the Draft? 

Many players signed up for Saturday's tournament as Free Agents. We will be hosting a Live Draft to determine final parings before the Calcutta.

What's a Calcutta?

Golfers and guests bid, auction-style, on the twosome they think will win The Flushing Meadows Classic. The highest bid claims the twosome. 50% of Funds raised through the “auction” will go towards a winners pool. If the twosome you claim wins or finishes in the top four of the tournament, you get a payout from the pool. 

The second 50% of funds raised will be donated in support of the work of Heart of Dinner,  a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization addressing food insecurity, social isolation, and loneliness among Asian American seniors who live in under-resourced and underinvested communities. They do this by delivering care packages of nutritious prepared lunchboxes and fresh produce every week, lovingly paired with a handwritten and illustrated letter in their native language to bring warmth and comfort.
